EAST HAVEN, Conn — The Husson University dance team competed at the New England Cheerleading Association New England Collegiate Championship on Saturday in East Haven, Connecticut.

The Eagles captured first in the lyrical and team performance divisions at the competition, while also taking second-place in the hip-hop division.

"We couldn't be prouder of the Husson University Dance Team for their incredible performance this past weekend," said head cheer and dance coach Megan Patterson '20. "Seeing the hard work, grit, and artistry they've poured into their rehearsals come to life on the competition stage was truly inspiring."

"The growth we've witnessed this season is just the beginning," continued Patterson. "This team has shown us that they have the heart and talent to reach new heights, and the entire coaching staff is thrilled for the seasons still to come. The future is bright for Husson Dance."
