Jimenez earns fourth NAC rookie of the week award

| By: Zak Mills

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its weekly award winners for men's soccer on Tuesday and Husson University men's soccer freshman Santiago Jimenez picked up his fourth rookie of the week award of the season.

Jimenez recorded his first two-goal performance of the season on Saturday when he helped the Eagles to a 4-1 NAC win at Vermont State University Johnson. Jimenez finished off a brilliant setup from fellow freshman Ludovico Barosi and senior Edwin Cruz to tie the contest at one in the first half, before putting the Eagles up 3-1 in the second half when he followed-up a saved shot from sophomore Jorge Mora to all-but put the contest away.

Husson is back in action tomorrow when it hosts RV Bowdoin College at 7 p.m.
