BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's basketball team announced its 2023-24 schedule on Thursday, which includes 10 games that will be played inside of Newman Gymnasium.

The Eagles will tip off their non-conference schedule on Nov. 10 when they travel to New England Small College Athletic Conference foe Bowdoin College. Husson will return home for its next two games as it will host the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Nov. 14 in the team's home-opener, followed by a dual with Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Nov. 18 in the annual Husson Sports Hall of Fame Game and the sixth annual Alumni Cup.

The Eagles will hit the road again on Nov. 20 as they will travel to Henniker, New Hampshire to take on New England College and will get just over a week off before hosting another NESCAC school in Bates College on Nov. 28.

Husson will begin North Atlantic Conference play on the first of December as it will travel to Vermont State University Lyndon in a two-game road series on Dec. 1 and 2. The team will make the trip to Newton, Mass. on Dec. 5 to take on Lasell University in a Tuesday evening affair.

The Eagles will play their final home game before winter break when conference foe Maine Maritime Academy travels to Newman Gymnasium on Dec. 7, before traveling to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Dec. 11.

Husson will take a two and a half week holiday break before traveling to Las Vegas, Nev. to compete in the D3hoops.com Classic. The classic starts on Dec. 28 when the Eagles take on the University of La Verne, followed by a matchup on Dec. 29 with Whittier College. Both of these matchups will be the first ever games for Husson against these opponents in men's basketball.

The Eagles will return to conference play to start the new year as they will play four-consecutive road NAC contests in a row. Husson will begin its road trip with its second matchup of the year with Maine Maritime Academy on Jan. 6, before traveling to Farmington, Maine to take on the defending NAC East Division Champions University of Maine at Farmington on Jan. 8.

The team will continue its stretch away from home the following weekend as it will play Vermont State University Johnson for the first time in four years on Jan. 12, followed by a game the next afternoon at SUNY Canton.

The Eagles will play their final road non-conference game of the year on Jan. 16 when they travel to Colby College for a midweek contest. Husson will wrap up non-conference play for the year on Jan. 20 when it hosts Bryant & Stratton College. This will mark the first time in the history of Husson men's basketball that they have matched up with the Bobcats.

Husson will play the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Jan. 23 and will be looking to avenge a loss to the Owls that ended its season last year in the NAC East Semifinals.

The Eagles will play a weekend series against Thomas College on Jan. 26 and 27 that sees Husson traveling to Waterville for the opening game, before hosting the return game the next day.

The team will host the University of Maine at Farmington in the second matchup of the year between the schools on Feb. 2, before playing in its road finale on Feb. 6 when it makes the trip to Aroostook County to duel with the University of Maine-Presque Isle.
