Box Score BANGOR, Maine — Freshman Jordyn Lengle scores career-high 18 points in Husson University's women's basketball's 92-58 win over University of Maine – Fort Kent on Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
Fort Kent (0-11) opened Tuesday's meeting shooting lights out from the floor and finished with a 19-18 first quarter advantage.
Husson (11-4) got its offense going in the second quarter and took a 38-35 lead into the halftime break.
The second half would be all Eagles as they dominated the third quarter with a 26-8 run, before closing out the fourth with a 28-15 mark.
Junior Bailey Donovan finished with a game-high 24-point, 14-rebound double-double adding three assists and three blocks.
Lengle tallied 18 points and six rebounds while senior Vanessa Duarte tallied 17 points and matched a game-high five assists and collected a game-high four steals.
Sophomore Makaelyn Porter also finished with double-digits, recording 10 points and finishing tied with a game-high five assits.
The Eagles finished shooting an impressive 52.9 percent from the floor while controlling a 48-22 rebound mark and tied a season-high with 26 assists.
Husson returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Maine Maritime Academy at 7:30 p.m. in a North Atlantic Conference showdown.
