FORT KENT, Maine — The Husson University women's basketball team cruised past the University of Maine-Fort Kent 80-37 in non-conference action on the road Wednesday evening. In the victory, the Eagles recorded a program record 66 rebounds as they broke a record that was set back in 1975.

Vanessa Duarte.
The Eagles scoring would slow down in the second quarter, finishing the half with 12 points while limiting Fort Kent (0-3) to just six points in the quarter to control a 36-16 advantage heading into the break.
The second half would be all Husson as the Eagles rolled off back-to-back 22-point quarter while limiting the Bengals to just 21 second-half points on the night.
