Box Score STANDISH, Maine – The Husson University men's basketball made a weekend trip to southern Maine for their annual Alumni Cup game with the Monks of Saint Joseph's College of Maine as the Eagles fell to the Monks, 91-74, at the Harold Alfond Center. 

The Eagles (1-2) and the Monks (2-2) would exchange the lead ten different times in a back-and-forth first half before the Monks would end the half on a 7-2 run to take a 38-33 lead into the locker room. Juniors Jeremy Moronta and Scott Lewis each kept the Eagles in the game for the first half by providing ten plus points from the bench. 

The second half saw the Monks shoot just under 60% from the field as they outscored the Eagles, 53-41, to pick up the non-conference victory and reclaim the Alumni Cup. 

Moronta led the Eagles with 19 points and seven rebounds while Lewis chipped in 17 points. 

It's back to action on Monday when the Eagles will host Lasell University on Monday for their final matchup before the Thanksgiving break. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at Newman Gym.
