BIDDEFORD, Maine — The Commonwealth Coast Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday and Husson University football junior
Tucker Buzzell earned his third defensive player of the week honor while freshman
Jed Lober was named offensive rookie of the week.
Buzzell, finished the week with a game-high 15 tackles in Husson's first program victory over Western New England University. Buzzell also recorded his third-straight game with an interception giving the junior four on the season while also registering a sack in the victory.
Lober carried the ball for a career-high 28 attempts and another career-high 96 yards and one touchdown.
