STANDISH, Maine - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team defeated Saint Joseph's College of Maine, 146-48, and Gordon College, 151-29, in a double dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Harold Alfond Pool.
THE RUNDOWN:
- First Year Isaias Therio won the 50 Back (29.48) and the 200 Back (2:29.84).
- Senior Jordan McCoy finished second in the 50 Back (31.43) and third in the 200 Back (2:47.44).
- Senior Dan Egan won the 50 Breast (31.67) and placed second in the 50 Free (23.90).
- Senior Joe Vail won the 50 Fly (27.29), the 400 IM (4:53.73), and the 200 Breast (2:32.42).
- Senior Andrew Cote placed second in the 50 Fly (27.61) and fourth in the 200 Fly (2:36.23).
- Sophomore Ben Carusi was third in the 50 Fly (28.38) and the 100 Free (58.68).
- First Year Nathan Gilliam won the 200 Free (2:01.13) and the 500 Free with a new school record time of 5:14.84.
- First Year Hunter Jackson finished third in the 200 Free (2:04.49) and in the 200 Fly (2:28.47).
- Senior Steven Johnston won the 50 Free (23.05) and the 200 Fly with a new school record time of 2:13.66.
- Junior Spencer Bernat was third in the 50 Free (24.83) and second in the 100 Free (56.27).
- Sophomore Nathan Ober swam exhibition in the 50 Free (30.79) and placed fifth in the 100 Free (1:12.75).
- First Year Matt Steeves swam exhibition in the 50 Free (31.24).
- Cote, Jackson, Johnston, Egan won the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:38.88.
- Therio, Gilliam, McCoy and Carusi swam together to finish second in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:51.20.

The Eagles will return to the pool on Saturday, January 22nd with another double-dual meet. This time in Northfield, Vermont with Norwich University and Plymouth State University.
