BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University men's basketball team dropped a 70-60 decision to SUNY Poly in North Atlantic Conference action on Friday.

Husson (4-6, 2-1 NAC) shot well from the floor to begin the contest, controlling a 33-29 lead heading into the halftime break.

SUNY Poly (10-5, 5-0) reversed their fortune in the second half winning 41-27 over the final 20 minutes to pick up the 70-60 victory.

Senior DJ Bussey finished with a game-high 20 points for his fourth 20-point performance of the year. 

Junior Brett Cunningham finished with a game-high 12 points, finishing with a double-double adding 10 points. 

Senior Justice Kendall finished with 14 points off the bench for the Eagles, while graduate transfer AJ Barnes capitalized on his first minutes of the season finishing with 13 points and eight rebounds after getting the start.

The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they host Cazenovia College for a noon NAC tip-off.
