HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College volleyball team improved to 7-1 at home on the season by sweeping Husson University at Bridges Gym on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims improved to 9-4 on the season with their third win in a row while the Eagles fell to 2-9.

New England won the match by scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-9.

Alyvia McIntyre led the Eagles with 17 assists and eight digs. Sophia Pagliarini had a team high six kills and Eryka West added five kills.

The Eagles return to action when they open North Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday, September 29th in a Battle of Birds as UMaine-Presque Isle visit the Newman. Match starts at 6:30 p.m.
