Box Score BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's basketball team (4-0) stayed undefeated on the season with a 77-51 win over UMaine-Farmington (0-2) on Saturday afternoon.
IN THE ACTION:
The Eagles jumped out to a 10-2 lead halfway through the first period, with five points coming from Vanessa Duarte. After the Beavers scored five-straight of their own, Makaelyn Porter's three-pointer gave Husson a 13-7 edge at the end of one.
Porter's three was the beginning of a decisive 22-6 run over an eleven-minute span for the Eagles, led by eight points from Sydney Allen, including two three-pointers. Husson held the Beavers to just 2-for-12 shooting and forced seven turnovers during the run, as they took a 36-19 lead into halftime.
Husson continued the scoring barrage in the second half. Bailey Donovan had eight points in the paint in a 13-3 run to start the 3rd. The Eagles got plenty of scoring in the quarter from the outside as well, as Porter hit two threes, and Duarte knocked down her second of the game from behind the arc. The Eagles pushed their lead to 56-33 by the end of the 3rd, on their way to a clear win.

Another game, another double-double for Bailey Donovan. The sophomore center had 16 points on 5-for-10 shooting, to go along with 15 rebounds.

Vanessa Duarte had a season high 14 points, shooting 6-for-11 from the field, including 2-for-5 from beyond the arc.

The Eagles had four players in double figures on the day; Sydney Allen had 15 points, and freshman Trinity Montigny chipped in with 12.
- The Beavers were led by Rosalie White off the bench with ten points.
