Box Score BANGOR, Maine - Eleven different players scored as the Husson University men's basketball team (8-0) defeated UMaine-Fort Kent (0-4) with a team effort performance, by the final score of 93-65.
IN THE ACTION:
Scott Lewis and DJ Bussey got the Eagles going as they opened the game on a 9-0 run followed by an 8-0 run just a minute later, as Husson led 19-5 in the first seven minutes of the game. The Eagles continued adding to their advantage throughout the first half, separating themselves by over twenty points heading into the break with nine points contributed by Lewis.
Bringing nonstop energy, despite their lack of subs, the Bengals tacked on a swift ten points in the opening minutes of the second half to bring their deficit back under twenty points. Both teams continued with high momentum throughout the remainder of the afternoon, but Husson had already pulled away as the game capped of with the final score of 93-65.

DJ Bussey led the team with 15 points while Scott Lewis scored 13 points and Justin Thompson netted 12.

The Bengals were led by Julian Hymes with a game-high 23 points, scoring 17 points in just 20 minutes playing time in the second half. Mekhi Foreman chipped in 16.
