BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team earned a split in their double dual virtual swim meet with Maine Maritime Academy (L, 123-122) and the University of New England (W, 179-23) on Friday evening in Webber Pool.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Steven Johnston, Joe Vail, Tom Cote and Dan Egan combined to finished second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:47.59.
- Zethan Moss finished second in the 50 Back (29.36).
- Dakota Grover was fifth in the 50 Back (31.00), fourth in the 50 Free (26.72), and third in the 100 Back (1:05.85).
- Jordan McCoy took a sixth place finish in the 50 Back (31.74), a fifth place finish in the 100 Back (1:09.97), and a seventh place finish in the 50 Fly (33.01).
- Vail placed second in the 50 Breast (31.34) and won the 100 Breast (1:09.56).
- Ben Carusi finished third in the 50 Breast (33.27) and the 100 Breast (1:15.02), and was fifth in the 50 Fly (30.98).
- T. Cote was third in the 100 Fly (59.80) and placed second in the 50 Fly (26.92).
- Andrew Cote took a third place finish in the 100 Fly (1:00.88), the 100 Free (54.30), and the 200 Free (2:10.98).
- Johnston won the 50 Free (22.12), the 200 Free with a new school record time of 1:54.79, and the 100 IM (59.81).
- Egan finished second in the 50 Free (23.92), fourth in the 100 Free (55.09) and the 100 IM (1:07.29).
- Jackson Nelson swam exhibition in the 50 Free (29.02) and finished sixth in the 100 Free (1:06.76).
- Spencer Bernat won the 1-meter diving (5-dive program) with 152.10 points and the 1-meter diving (6-dive program) with 216.50.
- T. Cote, A. Cote, Vail and Moss swam together to win the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:38.58.
- Grover, Bernat, Carusi and McCoy finished third in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:45.68.
