Men's Swimming & Diving Cruise Past Regis College Pride

WESTON, Mass. - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team pick up a 166-66 victory over Regis College on Saturday morning in Regis Pool.

THE RUNDOWN:

The quartet of Senior Steven Johnston, Senior Joe Vail, Junior Andrew Cote, and Senior Dan Egan won the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:48.54.
Senior Jordan McCoy, Sophomore Ben Carusi, First-Year Hunter Jackson and First-Year Isaias Therio finished third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:02.01.
First-Year Nathan Gilliam won the 1000 Free (11:28.65) and the 200 IM (2:17.41), and finished second in the 100 Fly (1:01.78).
Therio finished third in the 200 Free (2:06.54), and second in the 100 Back (1:03.89).
Carusi was fourth in the 200 Free (2:13.53), and second in the 100 Breast (1:15.61) and the 200 IM (2:36.03).
Jackson placed second in the 50 Back (30.15), and third in the 100 Back (1:05.13) and the 50 Fly (28.62).
Sophomore Dakota Grover was third in the 50 Back (32.88) and the 50 Free (27.41), and won the 500 Free (6:33.34).
McCoy finished fourth in the 50 Back (33.32) and the 100 Back (1:16.41), and fifth in the 50 Fly (30.48).
Vail won the 50 Breast (30.37) and the 100 Breast (1:07.66).
Cote took a third place finish in the 100 Fly (1:01.90), and a second place finish in the 50 Fly (27.21).
Egan won the 50 Free (23.83), and finished second in the 100 Free (54.18).
First-Year Nathan Ober placed fourth in the 50 Free (30.44) and the 100 Free (1:11.86).
Junior Spencer Bernat won the five-dive one-meter optionals with 156.45 points and the six-dive round with total of 235.24 points.
Johnston won the 100 Free (50.00).
First-Year Matt Steeves finished second in the six-dive round with total of 156.90 points.
Johnston, Egan, Vail and Cote swam together to win the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:33.31.
