BANGOR, Maine - A back-and-forth battle between Husson University and Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) men's swimming & diving teams came down to the final event on Friday evening inside Webber Pool. With the Eagles holding a 10-point lead, the Mariners needed to finish first and second in the 200 Free Relay to win the meet. A Eagle victory or a second and third place finish would result in a Husson win. MMA was one and three after the opening 50, but Husson fought back to finish second and third for the five point triumph. The 142-137 victory was Husson's first win over the Mariners since the 2018-19 season.
