BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team pick up a 155-58 victory over Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Friday evening in Webber Pool.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Joe Vail, Dan Egan, Andrew Cote and Ben Main-Sobel combined to win the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:17.00.
- Dakota Grover, Ben Carusi, Hunter Jackson, and Isaias Therio swim together to finish second in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:25.16,
- Nathan Gilliam won the 1000 Free with a new school record time of 11:16.90. The previous school record of 12:03.90 stood for 50 years. He also won the 500 Free (5:25.67) and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:06.04).
- Zethan Moss won the 200 Free (2:05.44) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (26.94).
- Main-Sobel took second in the 200 Free (2:11.06) and a third place in the 50 Free (25.89).
- Jacob Harper placed third in the 200 Free (2:21.12) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (30.91).
- Therio won the 50 Back (30.07) and the 100 Back (1:04.50).
- Grover was second in the 50 Back (30.97) and the 500 Free (6:31.94).
- Jordan McCoy finished third in the 50 Back (34.24) and the 100 Back (1:11.34), and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (30.90).
- Vail won the 50 Breast (30.84) and the 100 Free (54.14), and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:02.51).
- Carusi placed second in the 50 Breast (33.74) and third in the 100 Free (58.61).
- Steven Johnston won the 100 Fly (57.83) and the 100 Breast (1:09.46), and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:00.82)
- Jackson was second in the 100 Fly (1:03.95) and took a third place in the 100 Free (59.23).
- Egan won the 50 Free (23.48).
- Cote finished second in the 50 Free (24.47) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (27.61).
- Spencer Bernat won the 1-meter diving (5-dive) with 129.35 points and dove exhibition in the 1-meter diving (6-dive). He tallied 215.15 points in his exbitbition diving event.
- Egan, Jackson, Therio and Carusi swam in exhibition 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:38.15.
- Cote, Main-Sobel, Harper and Gilliam swam exhibition 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:56.31.
