Box Score 2 LEESBURG, Fla. - The Husson baseball team (3-4) continued their spring games down South on Monday evening as they swept a doubleheader against Westminster College (Pa.) (2-2) at Pat Thomas Stadium. Husson won the first game, 11-0, and took the nightcap, 11-6.
GAME ONE - Husson 11, Westminster 0
The Eagles opened up the scoring in the top of the first inning off a Chris Ewanik single to right field, driving in Nick Guerrette. The scoring continued in the top of the first as Michael Schneider hit in both Ethan Shepard and Chris Ewanik on a double to deep right to tally four runs in the scorebook in the first.
Husson pushed their fifth and sixth runs across the plate in the top of the third after a bases loaded walk and fielder's choice. Ethan Shepard got his second hit of the day in the top of the sixth, driving in Brandon Smith. Later in the inning, Michael Schneider continued his impressive day, recording his third double in four plate appearances while driving in two more.

Emilio Rivera got the start and went three innings. He allowed six runs (three earned) on five hits. He walked four batters as well as struck out one.

Logan Minch, Austin Webb, and Mike Brilla threw a combined effort of four innings.
OFF THE BAT - HUSSON

Michael Schneider went 4-for-4 with three doubles and four runs batted in.

Shepard and Schneider both scored three runs.

Nolan Brown went 2-for-3, recording an RBI double in the top of the sixth.

GAME TWO - Husson 11, Westminster 6
The Eagles were the first to score again in game two of the doubleheader, as an Austin Baron single into center brought Nolan Brown and Chris Ewanik in to score in the bottom of the second. Keith Pomeroy followed up with an RBI single, scoring Austin Baron for the Eagles' third run. The big inning continued as Kobe Rogerson sent a single into left field plating both Hoogterp and Pomeroy, then Rogerson would come in to score.
Back to back RBI singles by Baron and Pomeroy would increase the Husson lead in the bottom of the third. After a Westminster pitching change, Pomeroy would come touch home for the Eagles' ninth run on a wild pitch.
The Titans finally pushed a run across in the top of the fourth, as a Tyler Barnot ground-out brought Cinicola in to score. Mike Grazier followed that up with an RBI double, scoring Jaret Johnson. Barnot brought in two more runs for the Titans in the top of the fifth, bringing them within four of the Eagles. The Eagles answered with two more for security when David LeBlanc and Matt Graciano came across for the Eagles in the bottom of the sixth, bringing their lead back to six. After giving one back in the seventh, Husson held off the Westminster Titans for a final score of 11-6.
Strong starting pitching led the Eagles to a double header sweep as Lendrum went 4 innings giving up no earned runs.

Harrison Lendrum (W, 1-0) got the start and pitched four innings. He allowed three runs (0 earned) on five hits as he struck out three and allowed one walk.

Jacob Gregoire pitched an inning as he allowed two runs (0 earned) on one hit. He walked four batters while striking out one.
