BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Husson University women's basketball team dropped a tough road game at #3/4 Bowdoin College, 88-58, Tuesday evening in Morrell Gymnasium. 

Husson falls to 7-7 with the loss, while The Polar Bears advance to 16-0.

Game Highlights

• After Husson scored the game's first basket on a jumper from Kenzie Worcester, Bowdoin scored the next ten points and never trailed again.
• Lydia Caputi sparked the run with a three-pointer and ended the surge with a layup to give the Polar Bears a 10-2 advantage.
• Bowdoin extended their lead to 21-8 after one quarter and owned a 41-19 advantage at the break.
• Husson stayed within striking distance thanks to eight points from Joan Overman in the third quarter, as Bowdoin outscored the Eagles 21-20 in the period.
• The Polar Bears led by as many as 32 points in the final quarter en route to the victory.

• Husson shot 43% from the field in the loss, but converted 10 of their 11 free throws.
• The Polar Bears held a 35-31 edge in rebounding and got 63 points from their bench, while the Eagles got 28 from theirs.
• Husson was led by 19 points from Kenzie Worcester while Joan Overman and Sarah Bragg added ten apiece. Hayden Campbell came off the bench to add six points.
• Abby Kelly hit a season-high five three-pointers to finish with a game-high 21 points with eight rebounds for Bowdoin. Maddie Hasson had 18 points.
