STANDISH, Maine - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team split a double-dual meet on Sunday morning at the Alfond Center Pool on the campus of Saint Joseph's College of Maine. The Eagles topped the Nor'Easters of University of New England, 112-85, before falling to the hosted Monks, 115-89.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Thomas Cote, Brandon Babin, Caelan Lecrone, and Ben Volpone combined to finish third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:59.57.
- Adam Colter finished second in the 1000 Free (13:06.40), third in the 50 Free (26.88) and the 500 Free (6:27.39).
- Volpone was third in the 200 Free (2:13.48), the 100 Back (1:11.57) and second in the 50 Free (26.53).
- Cote won the 50 Back (29.57), finished third in the 100 Free (57.06) and second in the 50 Fly (28.12).
- Alex Miles placed fourth in the 50 Back (34.34) and the 100 Free (58.50).
- Colby King finished second in the 50 Breast (33.52) and fifth in the 100 Free (1:01.71).
- Babin was fourth in the 50 Breast (37.16) and second in the 100 Breast (1:21.97).
- Lecrone was third in the 100 Fly (1:10.25) and the 50 Fly (28.16).
- King, Colter, Babin and Lecrone swam together to win the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:49.76.
