BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Husson University men's swimming & diving team fell to Saint Joseph's (Maine) by a score of 105-81 and University of New England, 102-84, in a double-dual meet at the Campus Center Pool on Saturday afternoon.
The highlight of day was freshman Thomas Cote who posted a winning time of 1:01.29 in the 100 Fly to eclipse James Nealy's HU mark of 1:02.36 set at a home dual meet with the Monks on October 30, 2015.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Cote, Kyle Urban, Caelan Lecrone and Colby King combined to finish 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:56.77.
- Adam Colter placed 2nd in the 1000 Free (12:48.59), swam exhibition in the 50 Free (26.67) and took third in the 500 Free (6:16.77).
- Alex Miles was fourth in the 200 Free (2:11.36) and 3rd in the 50 Fly (31.00).
- Lecrone finished 3rd in the 50 Back (33.35), 4th in the 50 Free (26.48) and in the 100 Free (59.41).
- Urban won the 50 Breast (33.02) and the 100 Breast (1:13.49)
- Cote won the 100 Fly (1:01.29) and finished 5th in the 50 Free (26.49)
- King took second in the 50 Free (25.65).
- Colter, Cote, Miles, and Urban swam together to finish second in the 400 Free Relay (3:51.22).

The Eagles will return to action with an appearance in the first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championship, which will be hosted by Simmons College on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd.
