BANGOR, Maine – Victoria McIntyre scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Eagles to a 66-38 win over Thomas College in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Wednesday night inside Newman Gym.

Husson (18-6, 16-1 NAC) wins its 16th NAC game on the season the most since 2004, while Thomas (3-21, 2-14 NAC) drops its 18th-straight game to the Husson Eagles and falls to 63-8 in the all-time series.

Husson took a 32-14 lead into halftime courtesy of 11 points from McIntyre and five from Chandler Guerrette.

Husson opened the 3rd quarter on a 11-8 run and cruised the rest of way for the victory.

McIntyre finished with two assists, seven rebounds to go along with her 13 points. Kenzie Worcester added six points, while Darla Morales recorded eight points, and four assists. Miranda Drinkwater added eight points and three steals off the bench for the Husson Eagles.

Taylor Johnson finished with eight points and four rebounds for Thomas, while Katie McAllister chipped in with eight points and seven boards. Ashleigh Gagne recorded seven points and five rebounds and Kelly Macomber added eight points off the bench for the Terriers.

Husson closes out the 2015-16 regular season on Saturday, February 20 when they travel to UMaine-Farmington for a 1:00 p.m. conference game while Thomas host Maine Maritime on Saturady as well for a 1:00 p.m. conference game.
