Women's Volleyball Falls to Colby-Sawyer in NAC Semifinals, 3-0

CASTINE, Maine – The Husson University women's volleyball fell to Colby-Sawyer, 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-19) on Friday evening in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Semifinal match, played at the top seed, Maine Maritime Academy.
Gabrielle Rodriguez led Colby-Sawyer with 12 kills, nine digs, two aces, an assist and a block, Ashley Kinley tallied a match-high 14 digs, while teammate Monika Scheindel tallied 11 digs. Morgan Flynn added 10 digs and an ace and Jaia Woodland added nine kills, a dig and a block. Caroline McCoy tallied four aces, while Olivia Goodrich tallied a match-high 34 assists.
Bailey Cote and Mary Grace Power led the Eagles with three kills each, while Power also added nine digs. Delany Chisholm led the team with 10 digs and both Hanna Hembrow also chipped in with nine digs and seven assists.
The Chargers (11-20) advance to the NAC Championship, where they will face the top ranked Maine Maritime Academy Mariners tomorrow at 12:00 pm in Castine, while the Eagles conclude their season with a 15-15 overall record.
