BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University Men's swimming & diving had their three dual-meet winning streak snapped by the Cadets of Norwich University, 103-79 at the Webber Pool on Thursday afternoon.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Alex Miles, Grant Gerber, Caelan Lecrone, and Colin Vidas combined to finish 4th in the 200 medley relay with a 2:04.34.
- Miles placed 4th in the 100 fly (1:13.60), won the 500 free (6:34.78), and the 100 IM (1:18.81).
- Lecrone finished 2nd in the 50 back (34.16), and won the 50 fly (31.20).
- Vidas took 2nd in 50 free (26.12), and won the 100 breast (1:19.97).
- Gerber was 2nd in the 50 breast (30.86), and won the 100 free (52.39).
- Dylan Tremblay placed 3rd in the 50 free (27.60), and 2nd in the 100 free (1:06.48).
- Vidas, Gerber, Tremblay and Lecrone swam together to post a first-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:46.82).
Husson will return to the pool on Saturday, January 23 at 1:00 p.m. when they host Saint Joseph's College of Maine. The Eagles have plans to honor the program's two seniors Josh DeNicola and Tremblay.
