PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Husson lost a pair of matches in straight sets Saturday inside Foley Gymnasium. The Eagles lost to Rhode Island College by scores of 25-10, 25-11 and 25-6 before dropping a match to Plymouth State (N.H.) by scores of 25-7, 25-16 and 25-12.

Jillian Ward had 10 kills for Rhode Island (6-5). Abigayl White dished out 28 assists. Nicole Thibodeau had 17 digs.

Sarah Wilson and Nia Arranaga dished out 12 and 10 digs, respectively, for Husson (6-12). Lindsay Chapman had eight.

Brianna Wojtas led Plymouth State (11-4) with eight kills, while Katie Sylvia chipped in six. Megan Bailey finished with 17 assists, and Rachel Morrissey had 14 digs.

Wilson and Marissa Johnson came up with seven and five digs, respectively. Johnson also had seven assists.

Husson hosts Saint Joseph's (Maine) in non-conference action Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. ET.
