STANDISH, Maine - The Husson University Men's swimming & diving defeated Saint Joseph's College of Maine, 82-71 at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday afternoon to extend their dual-meet winning streak to three. It's the longest streak in program history in 42 years.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Alex Miles, Josh DeNicola, Caelan Lecrone, and Colin Vidas combined to win the 200-Medley relay with a 2:14.76
- Miles won the 200-free (2:16.26), and a 3rd in the 100-free (1:01.01).
- Lecrone was 3rd in the 50-back (35.50), and 50-fly (32.02).
- Vidas finished 2nd in the 50-breast (35.05), and 100-free (58.02).
- DeNicola took 3rd in the 50-breast (40.35), and won the 500-free (8:24.81).
- Grant Gerber won the 50-free (23.54), 100-breast (1:14.60), and a 2nd in the 50-fly (27.64).
- Vidas, Gerber, Lecrone and Miles swam together to post a first-place finish in the 200-Free relay (1:51.75).
The Eagles will return to action with an appearance in the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Invitational, which will be hosted by Simmons College on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th.
