Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine --- Husson volleyball team lost a non-conference matchup to Colby College by score of 3-0 on Tuesday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.
The Mules move to 10-10 overall heading into Friday's 7 p.m. away match at Gordon College. Colby won by set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-15.
Elizabeth Noyes finished with nine kills and had a .500 hitting percentage in two sets. Kim Donaldson also played two sets, had seven kills, no attack errors, and hit .636. Alex Busser also hit well at .417 and finished with six kills and two blocks. Colby hit .338 as a team and was never below .300 in any set.
Molly Manuel paced the Mules with 13 assists and had seven defensive digs. Natalie Roy led the Mules with 15 digs, Paige Hanssen led in service aces with three, and Karolina Serhan and teammate Sarah Arvidson both had two blocks.
Sarah Wilson led Husson with 11 digs, while Bailey Cote finished with three kills and the Eagles' lone block. Lindsay Chapman added two kills, one ace, and seven digs. Marissa Johnson had seven assists and Nia Arranaga added five.
Husson plays at Johnson State on Saturday at 10 a.m. and takes on Lyndon State at the same site at 2 p.m.
