BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's soccer team lost to Maine-Farmington in the 70th matchup between the two schools, 1-0, in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Tuesday night at Boucher Field. The Eagles suffer their first shutout loss at home to the Beavers since 2003.

The match went scoreless until Luke Dwornik took a shot from ten yards out that deflected off a Husson (7-5-1, 4-3 NAC) defender and into the back of net for an own goal with 11 seconds left in regulation play.

Stephen Berenyi led the Eagle offense with six shots, three of which was on goal.

Matt Wilson made 12 saves for Maine-Farmington (5-8-2, 3-4-1).

Steven Paquette made one save in the loss.

The Eagles outshot the Beavers 28-6.

Husson resumes NAC play Saturday when they travel to Castleton for 3:30 p.m. kickoff. The Beavers host Lyndon State on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. game.
