Lyndon Center, VT — Husson broke open a close game with a 19-8 run early in the second-half to record a 66-52 victory over Lyndon Saturday in North Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. With the win, Husson improves to 8-7 (7-2 NAC), while Lyndon State drops to 1-13 (1-9 NAC).

Victoria McIntyre (Mars Hill, ME) had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Eagles and Chandler Guerrette (Presque Isle, ME) had 13 points and a team-high four assists.  Samira Cruz (Orlando, FL) had 14 points for the winners and Denae Johnson (Bangor, ME) had two steals.

Emily Gray had 14 points and six rebounds for Lyndon (1-13, 1-9) and Chelsea Bagley collected six points and six rebounds. Chelsea Watson handed out a game-high five assists to go along with six points and two steals.

Husson will next take the court on Tuesday as they travel to Bowdoin for a 7 PM non-conference match.
