Box Score

Waterville, ME - Despite a slow start, the Colby College women's basketball team gained enough momentum to put together a 54-45 non-conference win over the Husson Eagles on Tuesday night at Wadsworth Gymnasium. The Mules received 15 points and eight rebounds from Desi Smith (Watertown, WI) en route to their victory.

Colby moves to 6-11 overall, while Husson drops to 6-7.

Colby started the game out 0-for-10 from the field, but then turned it around and made 10 of its next 16 shots to take a 27-19 lead at intermission. The Eagles led 16-7 with 9:04 left to halftime, but did not have a field goal over the final 6:35 of the half.
