Box Score Washington, DC - Husson football lost their first ECFC contest of the season in a tight contest with the Bison of Gallaudet. Both teams put up six points in the first quarter and seven in the second, leading to the final field goal by the Bison with 3:09 left in the game.
The Bonheyo's hooked up for the first score of the game in favor of Gallaudet. Todd passed to Ryan for 42 yards at the 7:41 mark of the first quarter on the first play of scrimmage. The Bison led 6-0.
The Eagles didn't take long to put their first score on the board. Ryan Dorso rushed for nine yards on two carries before Byron Jackson took a handoff and bounced slightly to the right side. Jackson met a defender five yards passed the line and shook him off with a juke move and scampered 64 yards to the Bison one. A carry with no gain later, Jackson's number was called again and punched in the Husson touchdown. Dennis Meehan's kick was blocked and no good keeping the score at 6-6.
Braxton Baker broke the tie in the second quarter rushing for a yard to cap the nine-play, 68-yard drive drive to make it 13-6.
Late in the second quarter Ellis Throckmorton forced a fumbled recovered by the Eagles. On the very next play Shabashe McIntosh ran for 22 yards and a touchdown to tie the game after Meehan's extra point.
The final score of the game came late in the fourth as Joe Seccareccia was intercepted by Gallaudet's Carnelius Smith at the Husson 38 and ran 31 yards to the Eagle seven. On fourth and goal Chase Magsig entered the game to attempt a 26 yard field goal which he drilled for the 16-13 lead that the Bison wouldn't relinquish.
The Eagles fall to 4-3 on the year with the loss and 3-1 in the ECFC as Gallaudet improves to 7-0 and 4-0 in the ECFC.

- Reece Attard's punt of 67 yards is a program record, besting Andy Munzing's 65 yarder against Assumption on October 18th, 2003.
- Attard's punt average of 50.0 yards-per-punt is the best in a single game for an Eagle, breaking his own mark from 2012.
