Husson Tops NAC Opponent Thomas College 52-42

Bangor, ME- Husson University Women's Basketball won their 5th straight North Atlantic Conference game, beating Thomas College 52-42 at Newman Gym Saturday afternoon.

In the second meeting between the two teams this season, Stephanie Comstock (Bangor, ME) was the leading scorer for the Eagles; in 22 minutes of play she scored 12 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Victoria McIntyre (Mars Hill, ME) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 1 steal.

Husson was able to capitalize on 26 Terriers giveaways with 22 points after a Thomas turnover. Husson's Amanda Johnson (Skowhegan, ME) came up productive off the bench with 6 points, and 2 assists.

Megan Pelletier (Winslow, ME) put up 17 points for the Terriers with 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in 27 minutes of play. Next in scoring was Emilee Reynolds (Newport, ME) who had 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Husson improves to 6-9 on the season and 6-4 in NAC play. Next up, Husson will host Maine Maritime on Friday December 25 at Newman Gymnasium at 7:30 PM.
