Bangor, ME-  In the first match of the day, Husson coasted past UMPI 25-2, 25-23, and 25-11.  The Eagles were led by Hannah Olstad (Farmington, NH) who had eight kills to go along with two solo blocks.  Aleta Johnson (Milton, NH) served up six aces and 14 assists in the three games, while Alex deHertogh (Cumberland, RI) was a force at the net with four solo blocks.    

Randi Kaplan (Embden, ME) led the offense for the Owls with three kills and three assists.

In Husson's second contest, they bested the Regis Pride in a thrilling five-game match 25-22, 25-27, 25-17, 22-25, and 16-14.  Olstad again paced the Eagles with 12 kills in the match to go along with two solo blocks.  Johnson dished out 22 more assists in the victory, while Michelle Smith (New Boston, NH) had five kills and five digs.  

Megan Pratt (Rockland, MA) put away eight kills on 13 attempts for the Pride, while Jackie Silver (West Hills, CA) and Vanessa Noesi (Puerto Plata, DR) each totaled seven kills for the match.  Soraia Pinto (Brockton, MA) and Brooklyn Beliveau (Weare, NH) had 16 and 13 assists respectively, and Sara Gold (North Hollywood, CA) put in a solid defensive effort with nine digs.  

In other action from the Husson Invitational...

Regis picked up two victories, defeating U-Maine Farmington (25-22, 25-21, 18-25, 25-17) and UMPI (25-13, 25-18, 25-13). 

For the Pride against UMF, Noesi led the charge with seven kills and six blocks, while Silver and Olivia Foley (Andover, MA) each contributed six kills.  

The Beavers were paced by Nicole Osborne (Calais, ME) who had seven kills on 12 attacks, while Bridget Flaherty (Plymouth, MA) handed out 13 assists and Marina Tello (San Antonio, TX) served five aces.  

Regis also toppled UMPI in three straight sets, led again by Noesi and Samantha Bliss (Framingham, MA) who contributed four and three kills respectively, while Beliveau dished out a team-high seven assists.   

Leslie Theriault (Enfield, ME) has three kills on eight attempts to lead the Owls.  

U-Maine Farmington picked up their lone victory on the day, defeating UMPI 25-8, 25-9, and 25-9.

Jen Vadnais (Arundel, ME) and Jordan Hohman (Naples, ME) each put four kills away to lead the Beavers, while Bridget Flaherty (Plymouth, MA) put up a team-high 20 assists.  

Theriault again led the Owls offense with two kills, while Randi Kaplan (Embden, ME) had two assists to go along with two digs.
