Box Score Lewiston, ME - Bates junior Ethan Hirshberg scored both goals as the Bobcat men's soccer team ended Husson University's four-game win streak with a 2-1 non-conference victory on Wednesday at Russell Street Field.
Bates took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute when Hirshberg (Concord, NH) gathered first-year Nick Ford's (Columbus, OH) kickout pass and lined up a beautiful arcing shot over Husson goalie Mason Smith (Houma, LA).
