Box Score The Emmanuel Saints found the scoreboard 11:33 into the first
half when Meghan Zerba (So., Cumberland, RI) made a crisp pass
across the Husson goal box to a waiting Darcey Sullivan (Fy.,
Dalton, MA). Sullivan buried the ball into the back of the
net. The Eagles answered with a side-netting goal struck by
Meg Clement (Sr., Brunswick, ME) and assisted by Katie McLaughlin
(Jr., Winslow, ME).
Husson and Emmanuel remained tied until midway through the
second half when Di Nucci found Ridge open in front of the Husson
net. Ridge hit a low strike to the bottom right corner of the
goal for the game-winner.
Emmanuel tallied 12 shots while Husson recorded 10 shots on the
effort. Beatrix Hassler (Fy., Jericho, VT) tallied 5 saves in
goal for Emmanuel while Husson's Rozlyn Petersen (Jr.,

In the first game of the day, Norwich's Karissa Doyon

chipped the ball over the Bengal keeper's head for the first
goal of the game. Nine minutes later, Doyon collected her
second unassisted goal of the day.
The Cadets pushed the score to 3-0 when Brittany Casey hit an
upper-shelf goal off an 18 yard direct kick. The half would
end with a 4-0 Norwich lead following an own-goal defensive
ricochet.
Casey pushed the Norwich lead to 5 two minutes into the second
half when she hit a direct kick just outside of the box to the
goalie's lower left.
Although UMFK had many scoring chances in the second half and

the net. Their best scoring opportunity came from a shot by
Whitney Sinclair that hit the side post and rolled across the mouth
of the goal.
Nicki Hunsicker tallied 9 saves for the Cadets while Dorothy
Pottle recorded 5 saves for the Bengals.
Emmanuel will face The University of Maine at Fort Kent on
