Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - The Husson University women's basketball team overcame a 14-point second-half deficit Friday to record a 77-66 win over Lyndon State College. The Eagles extend their North Atlantic Conference winning streak to 11-0 and improve to 14-8 overall.
Midway through the second half, the Lady Eagles (14-8, 11-0) went on a 14-0 run to take the lead for the first time in the game. Husson held the Lady Hornets scoreless for a 6:05 stretch late in the period and eventually pulled away to victory.
Shelby Bradford scored 20 points and pulled in 15 rebounds for the Eagles while Amanda Gifford and Bethany Sevy chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively. Brianna Hanscom dished out seven assists in the win and Gifford collected seven steals.
Donna Lawson led the Lady Hornets (7-13, 2-9) with a 17-point, 12-rebound effort and Naomi White added 15 points and seven boards. Abby Fadden added 13 points and three assists in the loss.
