October 6, 2010, Waterville, Maine – At today's North Atlantic Conference match featuring the Husson University Eagles and Thomas College Terriers, both teams participated in Play 4 The Cure as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Husson took the win 5-1, their third straight NAC victory.

The Eagles scoree first off a penalty corner when Courtney Allen with the assist credited to Jillian Morin at the 21 minute mark. Morin scored a goal of her own three minutes later to give Husson a 2-0 lead at the half.

Husson would increase their lead when Morin had her second goal of the game two minutes into the second half off a penalty corner. At the 53 minute mark Husson's Kara Poirier would get an unassisted goal off a penalty corner to increase the Eagles lead to 4-0.

Thomas jumped on the board at the 61 minute when Ally Kennedy (Readfield, ME) took a pass from Ali Kriegel (Winslow, ME) on a penalty corner. Husson would add one more from Kajsa Blindow in the 69th minute to win the game.
