Eagles Felled by Pioneers
The Husson University swim team lost to the Smith College
Pioneers 106-183. Five Eagles secured first place finishes
which will serve to fuel the Eagles as they prepare for New England
Championships February 19-21.
Amanda Mason (So., Dexter, ME) won the 50 yard backstroke for
the second consecutive week and also won the 100 yard
backstroke. Erin Doucette (So., Hampden, ME) claimed first
place in the 50 yard butterfly and 100 yard IM. Kaitlyn
Theriault (Jr., Glen Allen, VA) won the 200 yard freestyle.
The Eagles return to action on Feburary 6 at Elms College where
they will compete against Elms and St. Joseph's. The meet is
scheduled to start at 11:00 AM.
