The Husson University football team will play a green - white scrimmage on Thursday, September 3 at 7:00. This will be the team's final scrimmage before the Eagles open the season at Merrimack College on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 pm.

New Head Coach Niles Nelson begins his first season at the helm after five years as the program's Defensive Coordinator. Coach Nelson will direct the offense and coach the quarterbacks. His coaching staff features; Duncan Averill 2nd year (Defensive Coordinator), Darius Charlton 1st year (Defensive Backs) Shawn Demaray 1st year (Offensive Line), Bruno Dorismond 1st year (Linebackers), Greg Marter 6th year (Defensive Line), Walter Polky 3rd year (Running Backs), Tom Whitney 7th year (Receivers), volunteer assistant Matt Benson (Tight ends), and volunteer assistant Jeremy Mattoon (Linebackers).

The media and public are welcome to attend the game which will be played at Winkin Stadium. There is no charge for the event.
