Washington, D.C. -  With a 7-10 loss to Gallaudet, Husson falls to 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in Eastern Collegiate Football Conference play.  Husson got on the scoreboard with a touchdown midway through the first quarter but was unable to score throughout the remainder of the game.

Husson's only points in the game came by an eight yard pass from  Jack Hersom (So., Sidney, ME) to PJ Dowe (Sr., Bangor, ME) 7:27 into the first quarter. Carlos Romero, (Fy., Coral Springs, FL) kicked the PAT. On the scoring drive, the Eagles had 6 plays for 73 yards including a 38 yard pass from Jack Hersom to James Dobson (Sr., Berwick, ME).

Gallaudet answered with a second quarter 31 yard field goal kicked by Justin Wilson (Sr., Phoenix, AZ).  Husson remained in the lead with a 7-3 score until the final minutes of the fourth quarter.  At 8:40 on the clock, Gallaudet recovered a Husson fumble that would result in the game winning touchdown.  Gallaudet's Jimmy Gardner (Sr., St. Augustine, FL) ran three yards to score the game winner and Justin Gardner scored the PAT.  Gallaudet held possession for 6:53 on the winning drive and executed 14 plays for 52 yards.

Husson's Jack Hersom was 14-22 with 2 interceptions and 130 passing yards while Gallaudet had no passing yards and 173 rushing yards on the day.  Gallaudet's Michael Gimeli (So., Deer Park, NY) had 19 carries for 71 yards and Jimmy Gardner had 22 carries for 61 yards.  The Eagles' Julius Williams (Sr., Boston, MA) rushed for 58 yards on 17 carries and Andy Mondesier (Jr., Nashua, NH) rushed for 23 yards.  Keenon Blindow (Sr., Morgan, VT) had 12 tackles on the day.

Husson returns to action at Springfield college on October 10.  Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
