BANGOR, ME – The balanced attack from Maine Maritime was too much for the Eagles in the North Atlantic Conference volleyball championship as four Mariners had four kills or more in their 3-0 defeat of the Eagles at Newman Gymnasium.

Eagles' first year middle blocker Kate McKay (Lincoln, RI) lead Husson with 11 kills and 10 digs along with first year opposite hitter Erica Kane (Bar Harbor, ME) who had 10 kills and four digs respectively.

Maine Maritime saw solid play all around as first year setter Heather Moore (Macedon, NY) had four kills, 13 assists, two service aces and seven digs to lead the Mariners.
With the win MMA gains a bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
