Bangor, ME: On a blisteringly cold and snowy day, Saint John Fisher back-up Quarterback Tom Hammel (Sr., North Chili, NY) threw his way to an ECAC Northeast Bowl Most Outstanding Player award Saturday at the Winkin Complex at Husson University. Hammel went 8-14 passing with 95 yards, six rushes for 35 yards and two passing touchdowns, including the go ahead touchdown with just over thirteen minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

The Eagles attack was lead by junior running back Julius "Juice" Williams (Boston, MA) who lead the Eagles in rushing with 22 carries for 126 yards and the Eagles lone touchdown on the day. Sophomore running back Justin Lindie (Winslow, ME) had nine carries for 33 yards respectively.

Husson finishes at 7-3 overall on the season, while the Cardinals, out of the Empire Eight Conference improved their overall record to 7-4.

Saint John Fisher put the first points on the board with 9:02 to go in the second quarter on a six yard touchdown pass from Hammel to senior wideout Josiah Smith (Niagra Falls, NY) to make it 7-0 Cardinals.

The Eagles would answer back late in the third quarter on Juice Williams'
