Bangor, ME – The Eagles stayed undefeated in NAC play with a 2-1 OT win over MMA. Tyler Metevier (Fy, Kittery, ME) scored both Husson goals.

Metevier scored the game winner 3:40 into the overtime session. Josh Labonte (Fy, Winslow, ME) receive the ball off a throw in and served it to Metevier on the left side, Metevier shot it past Jeff Butland (So, Cumberland, ME) for the game winner.

After a scoreless first half, Metevier got the Eagles on the board at the 65th minute. Mark Trombley (Jr, Burnham, ME) played a corner kick in front of the net and the Mariners failed to clear it and Metevier put home the loose ball.

MMA answered 15 minutes later when Nate Tipton (Fy, West Chester, PA) finished off a pass from Greg Smith (So, North Yarmouth, ME) to tie the game 1-1.

Brad Ala (Jr, Caribou, ME) had 3 saves in goal for the Eagles. Rutland finished with 13 saves against 35 shots. Both teams had a goal waived off due to offside call.

Husson is now 8-6 (6-0 NAC) while MMA drops to 4-8-1 (1-5 NAC).
