Mikaela Pechar joined the Husson University softball program as an assistant coach in 2025, working with catchers.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:

Since joining the coaching staff prior to the 2024 season, Peachar has helped the Eagles to one North Atlantic Conference Championship and one NCAA regional appearance.
At Husson, Peachar has helped the Eagles to a 27-12 (.692) overall record, including a 12-0 (1.000) mark in North Atlantic Conference games.
Has coached one North Atlantic Conference All-Conference member - Bulla McCabe (2025).
Has coached one National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region selection - Bulla McCabe (2025).
Has guided one Maine College Baseball & Softball Association All-State honoree - Bulla McCabe (2025).

ATHLETIC CAREER:

Mikaela played four seasons at Creighton University from 2017-20.
At Creighton, Mikaela appeared in 143 games, batted .270 with 79 hits, 12 home runs and 65 RBIs.
At Millard West High School (2013-16) Mikaela led her team to three-consecutive Nebraska Class A State Tournament Appearances and three district championships. She was selected to the 2015 Omaha World-Hearld All-Nebraska First Team, a 2015 Metro Coaches All-Division Team selection, Metro Coaches All-Academic Team, Omaha World-Hearld Class A First Team, All-Metro Conference First Team, Lincoln Journal Star Class A Honorable Mention and a 2014 Metro Coaches Honorable Mention and All-Academic Selection.

PERSONAL:

A native of Omaha, Beb. (Millard West High School, lives in Orono.
Graduate from Creighton University with her B.S. in Emergency Medial Services (2020).
Works as a firefighter/paramedic with the Old Town Fire Department.
