Husson University

Chris Vafiades joined the Husson University men's swimming & diving program as the diving coach prior to the 2019-20 season.

He also serves in the same capacity for the women's swimming & diving program. 

CAREER AT A GLANCE:

• Since joining the Husson's men's swimming & diving coaching staff in the fall of 2019, Vafiades has helped the Eagles win one North Atlantic Conference Championship in 2021 and a 27-10 (.730) overall dual meet record.
• Vafiades has helped developed multiple All-North Atlantic Conference honorees — Spencer Bernat (2022, 2023).
• Vafiades has coached two North Atlantic Conference Divers of the Year — Spencer Bernat (2022, 2023, 2024).
• He has guided two New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association All-New England honorees — Spencer Bernat (2021, 2022).
