Kyle Lillie joined Husson in fall of 2015 as the Throws Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Teams.
Since joining Husson, Kyle has already coached a thrower to 3rd in the DIII New England Championship (All-New England Honors) 9th in NEICAAA Championship (All DI DII, and DIII New England Schools) and Competed in the Prestigious ECAC Championship in the Weight Throw. She was also the first athlete in Husson history to qualify for NEICAAA Indoor and ECAC Indoor Championships.
From 2013-2015 Kyle attended Arizona State University. In his time at ASU he was a Pac 12 and MPSF Scorer in the Shot Put and Pac 12 Scorer and NCAA D1 National Championship Qualifier in the Hammer Throw. He is ranked 4th in ASU History in the Hammer Throw, 7th in the weight throw and 10th in Indoor Shot put. He was coached by 5 time USTFCCCA National Assistant Coach of the Year David Dumble and has trained with Multiple NCAA D1 Champions, All-Americans and World Class Athletes. He graduated from the ASU “College of Public Service and Community Solutions” with a BS in Criminal Justice/Criminology.
From 2011-2012 Kyle attended Glendale Community College in Arizona. In his time at GCC he was a 2 time NJCAA All American, 2012 NJCAA Indoor National Championship Runner up and 2012 NJCAA Outdoor National Champion in the Shot Put, while also being a NJCAA National Championship Qualifier in the Hammer and Discus.
In 2010 Kyle Graduated from Valley Vista High School in Arizona. His senior year he was Northwest Region champion in the Shot Put and Discus and the Arizona High School State Championship Runner Up in the Shot Put. He also holds the VVHS Record in the Shot put and Discus.
Outside of Husson, Kyle is currently training Post-Collegiately with hopes of competing as a World Class Athlete in the Hammer Throw.
