Josh Warren has served as the head coach of the Husson women's tennis program since January 2015 and has led the Eagles to five-straight North Atlantic Conference Championships and one NCAA National Tournament appearance. The five-time NAC Coach of the Year is the winningest coach in program history having helped start the program in 2015.
Prior to Husson, Warren was an assistant men's and women's coach at Colby College from 2012-14. Before that, he was an assistant men's and women's coach at Ithaca College from 2010-11.
Warren is the founder and developer of Integrated Tennis, which implements both time-honored and modern mind/body techniques combining Western Sport Psychology with Eastern Yoga, to run workshops, presentations, and individual sessions for coaches and athletes looking to take their performance to the next level. Additionally, Warren was the head tennis professional at Sankaty Golf Club on Nantucket Island, massachusetts and had instructed and ran programs their for nine seasons.
Warren earned his PTR professional tennis certification while coaching at the world class Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, S.C., in 2008 and serves as an instructor at the Armstrong Tennis Center.
Warren was a four-year letter-winner on the men's tennis team at the University of Southern Maine from 2007-10 where he had a combined singles/doubles record of 71-32 and led the team to its first NCAA Division III National Tournament appearance in 2007. He played in the top singles and doubles spot and captained the team. He was also recognized as Little East Conference Player of the Week multiple times and spent a record-setting five consecutive weeks as Rookie of the Week.
A 2010 graduate of Southern Maine, Warren earned bachelor of science in business administration and a master of science in exercise and sport sciences with an emphasis in sport psychology from Ithaca in 2012.
A native of Hermon, Maine, Warren attended Hermon High School and currently resides in Lamoine, Maine.
