Jeff Wren

Jeff Wren joined the Husson University men's swimming & diving program as an assistant coach in 2021, after previously serving on the staff from 2012-2017.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:
  • Since joining the coaching staff at Husson, Wren has helped the Eagles to a 52-35 (.598) overall record and three-straight North Atlantic Conference Championships from 2022-2024.
  • Wren has coached two North Atlantic Conference Swimmer of the Year winners - Kayla Payson (2022, 2023).
  • Wren has guided three North Atlantic Conference Diver of the Year selections - Shelby Peterson (2022) and Riley Mahoney (2023, 2024). 
  • Wren has mentored one North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year honoree - Adelaide Ross (2022).
  • Wren has worked with numerous North Atlantic Conference All-Conference members - Lara Sarett (2015 x2, 2016 x2, 2017), Erin Aucoin (2022 x3), Kayla Payson (2022 x7, 2023 x6), Shelby Peterson (2022), Abbie Howe (2022 x5, 2023 x2), Adelaide Ross (2022 x4), Maddie Wing (2022 x4), Ava Emery (2022, 2023 x4), Erin Madden (2022 x3, 2023 x3) and Rachel Hand (2023 x6).
  • Wren has tutored multiple New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association All-New England representatives - Kayla Payson (2022), Abbie Howe (2022 x2) and Shelby Peterson (2022).
  • Wren coached numerous New England and America East Champions during his time at the University of Maine and won six New England team titles from 1978-1987.

  • Wren earned a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary in 1971 and master of education from the University of Maine in 1974.
