Mike Dugas has served as the head coach of the Husson men's golf program since July 2014 and the women's golf program since July 2015.

He has led the Eagle men to six North Atlantic Conference Championships, four Maine Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships and one New England Incollegiate Golf Association Championship. The three-time NAC Coach of the Year as led Husson to six NCAA championship appearances and has coached three division III PING All-Americans. 

Prior to Husson, Dugas served as the head golf coach as Maine Central Institute from 1996-20 where helped lead his team to the 1997 Maine Class B Team State Championship. Addtionally, he coached individual Maine State champions in 1996-1998 and was named the KVAC Class B Coach of the Year in 1997 and 1998. Today, he still remains the MCI Golf Booster Chairman, a position he has held since 1996.

Dugas has been a member of the PGA and a PGA Professional since 1994 and currently works as the head professional golfer at JW Parks Golf Course in Pittsfield, Maine.

While with the PGA, Dugas served as a PGA PAT Rules Examiner, conducting and officiating player ability tests in the Central New York Section, he served on the Maine Chapter of the New England PGA Board of Directors from 1999-2000 and was the president of the Maine Chapter of the New England PGA from 2000-2006.

As a player, Dugas participated in the Ben Hogan Tour in 1992, was the 1994 Emmitt Kelly Masters Champion (Syracuse, N.Y.), 2002 Maine PGA Player of the Year, and has played in the 2013 and 2014 National Professional Championship.

A 1992 graduate from the Golf Academy of America, Dugas has earned numerous PGA Awards; New England Section Bill Strausbaugh Award (2005), Maine Chapter of the PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award (2004), and Maine Chapter of the PGA Golf Professional of the Year (2005 & 2006).

A native of Skowhegan, Maine, Dugas attended Skowhegan Area High School. He and his wife Dawn reside in Pittsfield, Maine and have two sons, Eric and Gavin.
