FARMINGTON, Maine — The Husson University men's cross country team finished fourth overall on Saturday at the North Atlantic Conference Preview Meet.

The Eagles totaled 130 points to claim fourth place, finishing just ahead of the University of Maine-Presque Isle, who recorded 131. The University of Maine at Farmington won the team title with a perfect score of 15 points, followed by Thomas College in second with 55 and Maine Maritime Academy in third with 69.

Freshman Brady Pelletier paced Husson, finishing 23rd overall with a time of 33:21.00. 

Freshman Dylan Anderson was the second Eagle across the finish line, placing 27th overall in 37:55.30 and earning 23 points toward Husson's team total.

Junior Gage Moody followed with a 33rd-place finish, completing the course in 45:05.80, while fifth year Dillon Haughton crossed the line 34th overall with a time of 46:30.40.

Senior Carmy Kaniki completed Husson's scoring lineup, finishing 36th overall in 50:04.30. Moody, Haughton and Kaniki accounted for 28, 29 and 30 points, respectively, giving the Eagles their final total of 130.

Maine-Farmington swept the top five positions, led by individual champion Mason Tomboni, who crossed the finish line in 27:14.30. Andrew Laflamme finished second in 27:19.60, while Alexander Gagnon placed third in 27:41.00.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday for the State of Maine Intercollegiate Championship in Brunswick, Maine.
