WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its preseason poll rankings for women's tennis on Friday and the Husson University women's tennis was chosen second.
The Eagles recorded 27 total points and one first-place vote in the poll, ranking behind only the defending conference champions, Simmons University, who recorded 33 points and the other five first-place votes.
Thomas College and Lesley University tied for third in the poll with 24 points, while Vermont State University Johnson (11) and Vermont State University Lyndon (7) rounded out the rankings.
The Eagles open their season on Sept. 12 when they head to Simmons University for their NAC opener.
